fbq track also works in custom events

Good day,

Hi, im new to facebook pixel, as a developer we want to track our website using facebook pixel and Google tag Manager it works fine until we found out that we are using fbq track as a standard event function but the action we are using is custom event why the fb filter it as a custom event even though we used fbq track functions as standard event function ?
