Please recommend the appropriate chrome extension API

I want to create a chrome extension that removes a specific tr tag from a website made up of table tags.

However a huge amount of official document is difficult for me. Because I am not good at English.

So, if you tell me the API that you expect to need for the extension I want to make, I think I can easily do it through search.

Or, I would like to see a source that performs a similar function.
