How to create a java web application that can fetch data from the website, store it in the MYSQL database, and display the data in the web page?

I am trying to create a COVID-19 dashboard where I want display the COVID-19 statistics. I would like to create a dynamic java web application where it will automatically update data periodically from a database. I know I have to fetch data from the different websites into my database and display it to my web page, but I am not sure how to do it. If you could provide me with any ideas and resources available, it would be a great help for me. Thank you!!!
