Need to get total number of slide groups and number of current slide group in swiper

I am running the latest version of Swiper, and I have a swiper slider with 6 slides, but slidespergroup is set at 3, so I have 2 slide groups.

I want to show (1/2) somewhere underneath the swiper, and have the number update to (2/2) when progressed to the next group. I cannot see anywhere where these numbers are exposed in the API. Anyone have any ideas?
