In Quicksight calculated field, how do I do a distinct_countif for a field of 'username' for each 'day' if 'lunch' = 'lunch'

In AWS Quicksight I am trying to do a distinct count of 'username' by 'day' if 'lunch' = not_null.

I am thinking that the custom field distinct_countIf is the way to go but I'm seeing no examples in the quicksight forum or on stackoverflow that show proper syntax for such a calculated field.
