How to run old python and some old libraries(Python2, PyTorch1.0.1...) on DM server?

I am currently doing some studies on machine learning. I found a paper related to my research, and I am trying to run the code. I have to run the code in the DM server, which I use ssh to control. It is currently running on Python3, but the code I found runs with Python2 and some old libraries from 2-3 years back. I thought of using Docker, but I also heard that it will be hard to install/run Docker on the server. Please let me know if there are any ideas.
