How do I send a message using Discord-php

I am trying to write a Discord bot in Php using the Discord-php Library. The documentation regarding sending a message is not properly done. http://discord-php.github.io/DiscordPHP/ I am able to use the $message->reply() to reply to messages but not able to send a message. How can I do that?
