I have an oracle database with a Student table with a very large number of records. I want to get all the records of the student table quickly and efficiently. The first solution is that I use offset and limit but then I have to find out then the offset will get slow data when the number of records is very large. I've found a solution that is to use this query instead:
SELECT * FROM table_name WHERE id > 10 LIMIT 20 But one problem is that the student table has an id that is not a numeric data type, but a varchar. So is there any way I can avoid the fastest data offset and query?
