Is there a way to make a scavenger hunt game with google slides and apps script?

I haven't used Apps Script much before, so I need some help. I'm trying to make a scavenger hunt game with Google Slides for school. There's a slide with pictures on it that will take you to a specific slide when clicked on. The slide will have a question and you have to get it right in order to earn points. If you get it right, the answer will take you to a slide that says "Correct." So:

1. How do I make the Slides keep track of points? How do I make it count the number of times the "Correct" slide is shown?
2. How do I make a countdown of 20 minutes?
